1. What is the difference between VIP Price and Kickstarter pricing?
VIP Price is the final effective price exclusive only to deposit holders. It's an additional $300 lower than the prices listed for all bundles on Kickstarter, as it includes the $50 Deposit and a $250 VIP Cashback.
Kickstarter Pricing is available to all backers other than deposit holders, and includes:
Super Early Bird (SEB): The lowest public price, available in limited quantities for select bundles only.
Early Bird (EB): The standard early bird price for all bundles, including those without SEB availability, or once SEB units are sold out.
2. How do I know if I got the Super Early Bird (SEB) deal? What if I miss it?
SEB spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis immediately after kickstarter launch. You’ll know you’ve secured it if the reward tier explicitly includes “Super Early Bird” and the real-time stock indicator shows units remaining.
If you miss the SEB: No worries—you can still back the project at Early Bird (EB) pricing. While SEB offers the lowest price, Early Bird still provides significant savings over the future retail price.
Note: As a VIP Deposit holder, your $300 savings apply to both Super Early Bird and Early Bird prices.
3. Where do you ship to, and when will I receive my order?
We currently ship to the Contiguous US, UK, Canada, and the EU. Free Shipping is included and Customs & VAT Covered (No extra fees upon delivery).
Estimated Delivery Timeline
We will begin shipment from June in the order of the final payment. Due to limited production capacity, orders will be fulfilled in batches and shipped via expedited ocean freight to a regional distribution center, and then to a local carrier for final delivery.
Contiguous US: ~20 Days (Local shipping begins late June)
Canada: 30-35 Days (Local shipping begins early July)
European Union: ~40 Days (Local shipping begins late July or August)
United Kingdom: 60-75 Days (Local shipping begins late July or August)

6. What is the difference between a UV laser and a diode laser?
The key differences are:
- Wavelength: UV lasers use a shorter wavelength, allowing better absorption on transparent and reflective materials.
- Heat impact: UV lasers generate less heat, reducing burn marks and material deformation.
- Material compatibility: UV lasers can engrave glass and clear acrylic directly, which diode lasers typically cannot.

8. What materials can WeCreat Lumos Ultra 6W UV + 60W/100W MOPA laser engrave?
The Lumos Ultra laser is specially designed for high-precision engraving on a wide range of materials. UV handles almost anything. MOPA dominates every metal.
9. Can the Lumos Ultra laser engrave transparent materials?
Yes. Unlike diode lasers, UV lasers operate at a shorter wavelength, which allows them to engrave directly on transparent materials such as glass without applying coatings.
10. Can Lumos Ultra laser engrave in multiple colors?
Yes. The 60W/100W MOPA laser can engrave in 100+ different colors.
11. What is the main difference between the 60W and 100W MOPA?
The main differences are processing efficiency, engraving depth, and metal cutting capability.
12. Why is it only 6W for UV laser? Is 6W powerful enough?
Yes, 6W is absolutely sufficient for a UV laser system.
UV lasers work differently from diode or CO₂ lasers. Thanks to the shorter 355nm wavelength, UV light is absorbed much more efficiently by many materials. This allows the Lumos Ultra 6W to achieve:
- Extremely fine detail engraving
- High-contrast marking
- Minimal heat impact
- Clean results on delicate materials
Higher wattage is not always better for UV applications. In fact, excessive power may damage fine materials. The 6W output is carefully optimized for precision engraving, color marking, and detailed 3D work.

Currently K9 crystal only. It allows the UV laser to focus energy inside the material without damaging the surface.
15. What software does the Lumos Ultra support?
The Lumos Ultra supports:
